"Recently, one of the pride and joys of my life was taken from me in a hit-and-run. I have since decided to start a petition to make it illegal for people to hit animals and just keep driving whether on purpose or on accident. The law states that it is illegal for drivers to hit a human and drive away without providing as much assistance as possible. I want to make that law apply to not only humans, but animals as well. I would greatly appreciate it if you would send this to as many of your friends as possible and see if they would sign it as well. PLEASE, thousands of animals every DAY all over the U.S are being killed because of reckless driving. PLEASE, at least think about signing. All you have to do is email me back saying that you consent to being put down as one of the many that will sign. Every person that signs saves another animal that would have died had they not.
